From the airport, you will arrive at the Taipei East Gate Main Station (downtown) from where it will only be a 5-minute walk to our hostel.

We are centrally located in Taipei city with close proximity to the MRT, train station, HSR (High Speed Rail), bus station and major shopping malls and food courts. There is also a Family Mart convenience store downstairs, right next to our hostel.

Check in time: 8:00 am to 11:00pm. If you are expecting to check-in after 11:00pm, please email or call us to let us know.

No check-in after 24:00 if there is no reservation. You can find a room or sleep on the couch until morning where you can check in.

Direction to Happy Family Hostel from the Taipei Train Station

The directions are as follows:

1. Get off the "Kuo Kuang" airport bus at the Taipei Train Station. This will be the east side of the station.

2. Facing away from the station, there is an overhead freeway to the left. Walk towards the freeway and away from the train station at the first traffic lights. This is the corner of Civil Boulevard and Zhong Shan North Road Road Section 1.

3. At the North West corner of civil Boulevard and Zhong Shan North Road Section 1, there is a family mart convenient store.

4. Just before the store, there is a lane, this is Lane 56.

5. Walk about 20 meters along lane 56, then take the small right hand lane and the hostel is the first building on the left. We are on the second floor.
